Members of the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives are driven by what their constituents care about. While committee chairs do take a broader view of the issues, most care about the people in their districts first and the broader Commonwealth second.
We would like you to reach out to these members of the committees and show your support for the bills. When communicating remember these points
- Emails work, but they are easy to delete. Letters are better.
- Do not use a form or cut and paste emails
- be clear about what you would like to them to do – “Approve the bill and release it from the committee”
- be polite and stay on topic – while this might seem like the right time to tell them you do not like something, don’t!
If you do sent an email, please cc MAAC – mass.assoc.auto.clubs@gmail.com
